Alongside the late Arthur Lee, Vernon established Lee & Plumpton back in 1974. Back then, both Vernon and Arthur produced wood veneer products from their own garages at home eventually specialising in the Office Furniture products we sell today. As Chairman, Vernon is proud that the company has grown into of one of the largest employers in the local area and continues to be a progressive company, which prides itself with the highest quality furniture whilst maintaining its core family values. From its modest roots, Vernon has overseen Lee & Plumpton grow into a company that now has a 200,000sq ft production facility based on a 20 acre site in rural Norfolk... and is still growing.
