Derrick joined Lee & Plumpton back in 1986 straight from school. Having started out in the factory on the assembly line, he soon moved into the machine room. In the early 1990’s, he became a Quality Inspector and in 2004 was promoted to Head of Purchasing. Derrick is now fully qualified with the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply.

Derrick is an avid Tottenham Hotspur fan and enjoys getting down to White Hart Lane as much as possible to watch them play. He also loves to socialise with friends and says “his children keep him busy out of work”. Having a partner also working at Lee & Plumpton, there is always a pair of eyes on him at work!
